If your answer was a quick one like: “of course I do, I am a child of God”, “an aspect of the
One”, “That”, “a Doctor”, “a mother”, “an artist”, and so forth, ask your self again: do you know who you are? Do you truly know who you are?
Maybe you know that you don’t know. But if you think that you do, do you KNOW it at the deepest level of your being? Or is it just a concept that you BELIEVE to be true? Concepts about what IS and the direct Experience of what IS are totally different things.
There is a huge fundamental difference between knowing and
believing. A belief has structure and form and is, therefore of the relative or manifest world. True KNOWING has no structure or form and comes from the deepest level of the Self, the unmanifest One.
Anyone can believe something and it may or may not be the truth, but what you truly know, you know. You often do not know why you know, you just do. True knowing has nothing to do with the left-brain, thinking, structure or form, it simply is.
Who you are is so much
larger than most humans caught in the “identity trap” are truly capable of even beginning to grasp. Who you are is an infinite, unconditionally loving, totally free, perfect, limitless, powerful being capable of flowing and changing in every moment.
Who you are cannot be “tucked” tidily into a neat identity and be expected to be consistently that forever. Who you are at the center of your being is the same “who” that exists at the center of every other being (and the definition of
“being” is quite limitless). There is only the ONE.
When you truly know who you are and experience that in every moment, your life changes. How? When you KNOW that you are eternal perfection, that there is nothing wrong with you or your creations; that you are the creator of all of your experiences; that you are totally and completely loveable and deserving of love because you are love.
