All of these complications go by the board if we accept the necessity to earn a living just as everyone else on
the planet must earn a living. It serves us mightily to let go of any sense of being "special" by virtue of the teaching we share with others.
We feel that the time has come for us to "walk our talk" in
greater integrity. We claim that Ascension can clear the nervous system, expand the consciousness, to such a degree that we become capable of creating Heaven on Earth. Indeed it does. Now the time has come for us, as teachers and
simply as human beings, to be living demonstrations of that claim.
We have committed ourselves to this project. In practical terms, this is manifesting in a variety of ways, which are still evolving. In essence, we are
developing alternate sources of income and in doing so; we are exercising the imagination and creative power we have come to enjoy as a consequence of four years of Ascension.
Along the way, we are exploring plans to settle
down, probably in Santa Fe, make a home, grow a garden, get to know people, establish relationships within the community...in short, to do the things that all people do, and in so doing, to be more genuine, more real, more humble
than we have ever been. It is vital to disavow "specialness", for that is only another form of separation, the ultimate illusion.

Please understand that this is not a choice we are making out of any sense of moral
obligation or high-minded ideals, though morals and ideals exist in us and play a part. We are making this choice primarily because we have come to appreciate a deeper level of what it means to love ourselves. We are enjoying all
these changes! We're having fun! We are more relaxed about life than ever, more flowing and easy than ever before.
What does it mean to "release stress" from the nervous system if not to create a life of grace and
ease? Everything we have experienced up to this moment has served us mightily, including all the traumas and the joys, the disappointments and shocks as well as the exaltations and celebrations. We have come to know a profound
degree of Peace and Stillness that dwells within us and walks with us wherever we go. Now is the time to embrace the consequences and implications of that experience even more profoundly and personally.
The journey of
awakening has become more exciting than ever. Even in the stressful moments, there is a deep feeling of joy, moving like an ocean swell within our hearts. And beneath even the joy, there is an appreciation of the awesome and
boundless Depth which is our foundation. Whatever self-discipline is called for in the sort term is worth observing, for in the long run, the reward is a life saturated with Divine Grace.
