If there is one issue that is hardly ever addressed by Workshop Leaders and Teachers, but one with the most potential to actively do harm to the Human Potential, Complimentary Medicine field and New Age Movement, is that of GROUNDING.

I see too many teachers attempting to attract students by being so ‘spiritual’ or ‘advanced’ that they actually do the opposite.  Students will feel comfortable with teachers if there is a resonance, something that the student recognises and responds to.

If the teacher cannot show relevance to the student, or at least show that they have been where the student now is, there will be no useful relationship.

Essentially I have found the following to be true:
 

If they say that they are enlightened, then they are not!

If they can ascend, then why haven’t they?

If they say theirs is the only way, it isn’t!

If they say theirs is the true system, it’s usually untrue!

If they say they have no ego, they still have!

If they have to rely on pendulums or Tarot cards to make decisions in their lives, then it probably isn’t working!

If they say they’re ‘putting out to the Universe for it’ they’re not prepared to take responsibility.
 

My estimate is that about 15% of the World has a spiritual interest, knowledge or familiarity.  Although I have seen interest rise over the last twenty years, we still have a lot of people to reach if we are to attain a ‘body of belief’ that will induce the others to take an interest.

Many people’s lives would be enriched if they knew the same stuff, or had experienced the same things as the average Kindred Spirit reader. The reason why many do not is because they have not been shown, or are put off by what they consider, advocates of the New Age, that do not relate to their experience.

A cursory look through any New Age magazine will show you a myriad of ‘Spiritual’ names invariably coined from an Ascended Master or Angelic being as if it added spiritual credibility.
